Imagination is given free rein when it comes to planning weddings. The bride and groom can plan their wedding whichever way they want because here is one day that’s all theirs. Couples usually get married in a church and more often than not it is the church they have attended sometime. But there are couples who like to have their wedding outside the church too. Today, there are theme weddings and so many venues to choose from that you can really have the wedding of your choice where you can wear just about anything you want to.
Some of the most unusual ideas come from couples who have some common hobby or passion in life which is shared by both equally. It could be that they mark an important memory through their wedding ceremony.
Among the more common ideas that go into the selection of a venue is choosing to tie the knot at the place where the couple met for the first time. There are people who got married underwater because that’s where they first met, scuba diving or at sea.
But if you are planning a wedding with a difference then you need to plan it out carefully paying attention to a lot of details. For example if you are going in for a theme wedding then you may want to add a dress code to the invitation so the guests know they have to wear a specific color. This would need the invitations to go out well in time.
Keep in mind that your wedding should be an executable one and not one which is so over the top that on that day it becomes difficult to carry it out. If you are planning a wedding abroad then you will have to give guests enough time to plan for the trip and book tickets etc. so that your guests are there in time for the wedding.
A wedding abroad is a grand idea but keep in mind that everything then needs to cater to the place you are getting married in. if it’s a hot place then your wedding dress will have to be right for the season. There may be other little compromises you may have to be prepared for.
Every couple wants that their wedding be a big affair with all the trappings but it is the smaller and the slightly different weddings that get remembered. Just small variations to the traditional wedding will ensure that you have a wonderful day and your guests will remember it for a long time to come. It could be something as small as a color theme or a different venue.
But before you start the hunt for the venue sit down and make a list of all that you are going to need while planning your wedding. You don’t want to be in a situation where you have everything on time and the wedding cake is missing.
